DIY Fruit + Veggie Spray
Alright, it's totally gross..buuut how many of you have looked at the aftermath of water once you have rinsed your fruits and veggies before eating them? Umm, GROSS! Water is great, but I love love LOVE this easy peasy veggie and fruit spray. It only uses a few ingredients and takes a couple minutes (if that) to whip up. BOOM! You wanna know more, don't ya?!

First off, you'll need a spray bottle. I prefer glass, especially when using essential oils. I got a 2 pack of these 16 ounce Amber spray bottles here for less than $12 and you can use them over and over and over.

Here is the recipe.. I put it all in the bottle and then shake after.

1 1/2 cups of water (bottled or distilled)
1/2 cup of vinegar (white or apple cider)
10 drops of lemon essential oil

VIOLA! That's all! HOW EASY?! Spray your fruit or veggies, mix them around and gently clean, then rinse with water.
And that cute decal for my glass bottle? Go here!

Water works, but this mixture does such a nice job at getting all the dirt and grime, as well as removing that "film" you see on lots of fruits and veggies, like grapes. Wanna see more recipes using essential oils? Let me know in the comments!

Do you spray the fruit and then rinse them off?

I also use lemon water to soak my apple slices in so they don’t turn brown in the lunch boxes.

So fun!! Can you repost the Etsy link for the labels? The link on the blog takes you to an error page.
